Other Events

     During the month, of December 2005,  39.55 inches of rain fell on Quailhaven.  This storm was only the first in a series of storms that dumped large amounts of rain.

     Several days in December dumped more than 5 inches of rain in a 24 hour period.  Toward the end of the month all this rain caused the rivers to flood.  Many roads closed due to flooding, mud slides and land slides in Northern California.
