• Hale Mahinui is inside a private security gate. During your stay, you will have the entire house and grounds for your singular enjoyment. You will be met on the premises by the concierge, who will show you how to operate the jacuzzi and make certain you know where everything is. Blooming orchids and fresh tropical flowers will greet you as well, and you will find ample foods and beverages to start your day. If you wish, you may even use the juice extractor to prepare fresh juice each morning from the fruits provided, or augment them with your own preferences. |

• Hale Mahinui is designed for relaxation and renewal. Enjoy the sounds of the rainforest and the scent of ginger and orchids from the privacy of the lanai, where your neighbors are the pheasants that stroll through the grounds, the colorful and sweet finches, and the shy cardinals. The upstairs loft has a sofa bed, leather recliner, and flat screen TV. Downstairs, the sound system has speakers in the bedroom and living room, so you can enjoy your favorite music at a comfortable volume. The lanai is directly off both rooms. |

• The master bedroom is furnished with a top of the line pillowtop mattress, for your comfort and enjoyment. The jacuzzi is just outside the master suite, and includes spa robes and slippers. Down the lanai stairs is the outdoor shower, a rare pleasure for most of us. Hapu'us and anthuriums border the shower. • Amenities of the house include peaceful, private surroundings, with an outdoor shower open to the garden. The beds are truly comfortable. There are two bedrooms and a loft with a queen size fold out bed should you need it. There is a full home entertainment system and a fully equipped kitchen. The furnishings are luxurious. There is even a romantic wood burning fireplace to take the chill out of the evening air – you are at 4000 feet of elevation. • No mosquitoes at this altitude! |
